Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Do you travel?

YESSS. States like UT, CO, CA, WA, OR would have small travel fees.

States that require longer then a 1o hour drive would have higher fees for plane tickets and rental cars.

Same for anywhere out of the country.

However, if it’s somewhere really cool we definitely would make it work for both of us!

How do we reserve our date?

Your date is officially reserved once we receive a 25% retainer. Keep in mind that this is nonrefundable. The reason being is we may have other couples inquire about your date that we have to turn down. If you cancel your wedding for whatever reason, we missed out on that other wedding.

Is there anything I can do to prepare to make my wedding for a better video/photos?

I’m working on a full guide for opinion on this questions. But to summarize quickly

Videos: thoughtful vows, letters, speeches, toasts, and/or a great officiant all are the base of a great video.

Photo: It’s all about the details :)

Q: When is the final payment due?

We ask to have the final payment received one week prior to the wedding. We understand that the closer to the wedding day the more chaotic your life can get! If you forget we will still be there to film your wedding. However, no editing will begin until we receive that final payment. If no payment is ever received then your deposit will be forfeited as time compensated for filming.

Can I choose songs for my video?

Possibly! All music that we use must be licensed. If you are wanting a popular song then it will cost more to purchase. This price varies by song and we can look over options if you would like. Most brides trust our choices when it comes to music selection

Do you work well with other vendors?

I have never once had a problem with another vendor. It’s all about communication. Everyone has a job to do at your wedding and as long as you as the couple value all your vendors they all respect each other.

Where are you based out of?

I started my business in Montana and that’s where it has taken off. We live in AZ now, but I’ve been spending my summers in Montana for weddings (which honestly is a nice break from the heat!) That said, I would gladly work with couples from anywhere.

How far in advance should I book a wedding video?

Generally, videographers are one of the last vendors booked. However! If you value having a quality videographer then it needs to be as prioritized as any other vendor. Wedding season books up quickly for experienced videographers.

How do you do video and photo at the same time?

I don’t. I bring along an assistant who I trust more that myself. She assisted me on multiple weddings where I just filmed so she knows how I operate and is basically my third and fourth hands.
